Sebagai referensi, saya akan menggunakan lokasi (C:\Program Files\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare) untuk game saya. Mungkin kalian akan menggunakan (C:\CoD4) atau (E:\Call of Duty4) sebagai lokasi penyimpanan game Anda.
As a reference, I will use the location (C:\Program Files\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare) for my game. Maybe you will use (C:\CoD4) or (E:\Call of Duty4) as the directory for your game client.

1. Buy the CD/Download the Game/Buy the game through Steam:

Download (not-so-original/versi pak tani):
- Install BitTorrent(Download Now!)
- Press this magnet link: Download now! (BitTorrent/uTorrent), wait for the download to finish
- Open part1
- Choose location/pilih lokasi (C:\Program Files\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare)
- Wait for installation to finish
2. Install patch 1.6:
Note:
Bila ditanya gamenya dimana, pilih lokasi yang tadi dipilih.
Patch diperlukan untuk bermain online!

3. Install patch 1.7
Note:
Bila ditanya gamenya dimana, pilih lokasi yang tadi dipilih.
Patch diperlukan untuk bermain online!
Sebelum patch 1.7, Anda harus install 1.6. Jadi 1.0 (polos) --> 1.6 --> 1.7

4. Install PunkBuster
PunkBuster Service Installer:
Buka, lalu ikuti petunjuk. Sisanya otomatis kok. Pencet Next aja terus. Setelah selesai harus restart.
Open, then follow instructions. The rest is automatic. Keep pressing Next. After the installation is finished, you have to restart.
Setup PB CoD4:
5. CDKey
Banyak CDKey, pilih salah satu! A lot of CDKeys, pick one!
- Start/Run/Open game
- Go to Options > Multiplayer Options > Enter Key Code
- Masukkan CDKey kamu! Enter your CDKey
6. Play!
Note: Pengen bermain di server online? Wanna play in an online server?
Kemudian, masukkan IP ini di kolom tersebut:
Enter the following IP:
203.175.172.116:28967
Lalu, ganti source menjadi "Favorites" dengan mengclick source.
Change Source into "Favorites" by clicking it.

FAQ (Frequently-Asked-Questions)
Q: Kok gabisa main offline (singleplayer)? Why can't I play online?
A: Crack it.

Q: Key code in use? Kenapa tuh? What is that?
A: CoD4 tanpa CDKey asli tidak bisa bermain online di server yang tidak di-crack (alias server ori), tapi denger-denger dari statistik sih ujung-ujungnya 70% server CoD4 di-crack semua, jadinya seringkali walaupun tidak memakai CDKey asli Anda tetap bisa main online.
CoD4, without an original and legitimate CDKey, cannot play online in servers that are not cracked, although statistic says that 70% of the CoD4 servers are cracked, so most of the time even though you are not using an original CDKey, you can still play online.
